Pull small, thin sections of hair away from the rest of your lace front wig using the pointed edge of your comb. This is what will become your baby hair. Keep doing this until you are done with the whole hairline, to only areas where you desire baby hair. However, you must keep in mind how it will blend with the part you had created earlier. Pulling hair strands of the wig back using clips is advisable so that the rest of the hair does not get mixed into the rest of your unit as you trim.
Take a small section of hair between your fingers and pull it stiff. Use a sharp pair of scissors or a razor comb to trim the hair. Leave approximately one inch of baby hair that you will style later. If you are looking for a clean edge, scissors are the perfect option. But if you are looking for a more jagged, natural look, you can use a razor comb.
