On the left of the chart, it shows the different length of hair that needs different quantities.
Comparison of Closure and Frontal: A Closure or frontal is a hair finishing piece, used to “close off” a sew-in or a wig. A lace closure is a temple to temple hairpiece, typically you will need 3–5 bundles to achieve a full sew in; A frontal is an ear to ear hairpiece, placed against the edge of the hairline, typically 2–4 bundles you will need for a full sew in with a lace frontal.
A lace closure is a 4x4 lace closure piece, it covers your head from temple to temple. Closures are installed in the “horseshoe” area of the head to close off the style, hence the name closure. An experienced hairstylist can make a lace closure sew in looks very natural.
Free part closure, middle part lace closure, and free part lace closure are provided for customers to choose from.
Free part closure: a closure that can be parted freely as you wish.
Middle part closure: a closure that has a pre-plucked middle part, a very welcomed hair closure type.
Three-part closure: This closure gives 3 parts design-left side, right side, and middle part to be purchased.
How Many Bundles Needed With a Closure?
If you are going to get 8-14 inches, you need 2 bundles with closure;
Anywhere from 16-20 or 22 inches, you need 3 bundle deals;
For anything past that, you need 4 bundles;
And this is all with leave out or a closure.
If you're going for a short hairstyle, you typically only need 2 bundles, and this is for if you have left out or a 4×4 closure.
If you are getting long hair, you have to be very careful about the hair bundle's amount.
Some people might think that I will just get 3 bundles of 24” and that will be fine.
It could be fine, but the fact is that maybe your hair is going to be a scanty the longer it gets.
So 3 bundles of a 24 inch are not going to the same as an 18 inch, 20 inches and 22 inches.
You are going to get layered for one, and you are going to get a thickness for 18 inches and 20-inch bundle.
The tricky thing about going longer is that the longer the hair you get, like I said before, the more scanty and thinner it looks.
You always want to double up on the longest length, so if you want a 20' 22' 24' 26' hair bundles, I suggest you order 20' 22' 24' 24'.
You would like to double up the longest lengths, so the hair will be fuller.
And if you do like 26' is your longest hair length, then I suggest 22' 24' 26' 26' bundle deals with closure.
This is just for normal-looking fullness, if you want really full and thick hair, then past 22' inches.
It may be a little pricy, but if you want very thick hair past 22 inches like 30 inches you can try 5 bundles, 5 bundles with a 4x4 closure will give you the hair amount you need.
These are basically the hair amount you need for a closure sew in or leave out for creating a full wig.

Frontals are from ear to ear 13x4 lace frontal, the size is 13” across and 4” back, it will cover more spaces than closure or leave out, so the hair amount you need will vary.
With lace frontal, you will not have to leave out any of your own hair. It will cover the whole front part of your head, give a very natural hair look.
How Many Bundles Do You Need With A Frontal?
If you are getting 10-18 inches or 16 inches, 2 bundle deals with lace frontal will suffice. Hair length past 16 or 18 inches, I would suggest you get 3 bundles, so from a 16 inch, 18 inches to about 22inch, 24inch, 3 bundles will suffice.
For example, if you are having a frontal and your longest bundle is 24 inches, you can get a frontal and 20' 22' 24' bundles and that should be good for a frontal sew-in.
So, compare to closure, with lace frontal you will need fewer bundles. And if want hair length longer than 24', I will definitely suggest you use 4 bundles. Some of our African American women customers just wearing 3 bundles with frontal for 24 inches, and it looks pretty good, so it depends on the hair thickness and amount you want to put in and that the looks you are going for. And I know some of you want to buy long frontals, and that is not necessary, the hair bundles are layered, the front of the hair is usually shorter.
What Factors Affect Bundles You Need
1. Hair length. Different hair length needs different quantities of hair. Some people like long hair extensions, but some like short ones. If the weight of one hair bundle is fixed, the longer the thinner. When you want to install long hair, you should buy more.
2. Hair weight. There are many sizes of hair in the market. When you purchase human hair bundles, you need to make sure the weight of one hair bundles. Some are 50g/bundle, and some are 100g/bundle. In beauty forever hair store, we only have 100g per bundle for a hair weave.
3. Hair texture. Different hair texture appearance difference, the same length of hair, body wave compare with a straight wave is short. So you should know which texture you need first.
4. Head size. Different customers have different head size, if your head is big, you need more hair bundles to cover your head.
