What Is A Closure
A closure is usually a 4x4' piece, which around temple to temple size and put in the middle, its 4 inches long and 4 inches wide, like perfect square. 4 inches long and 4 inches wide for the most part. It may vary, if some people want 4x3', but for the most part of closure, it's 4x4' piece. 4x4 Lace Closure is the standard.
Now you have two types of closures, you have lace closure, which is all lace, usually made with swiss lace, and then you have the silk base closure, which is made with silk. It is a matter of preferance, a lot of people say the lace flatter, and I find that to be ture sometimes. But it depends on the style you are doing. If I am doing like a curly hair style, I love a lace closure because you don't really see a define part. But if I am doing like a middle part, I want to be silk, because I want it look as natural as possible.
What Is A frontal
A frontal goes from ear to ear, so the entire front is covered. 13x4 Lace Frontal is the standard size. That is the difference between a closure and a frontal. And then with the frontal, there are 3 types of frontals.
There is the all lace frontal, which lace is really flatter, it is perfect. If you are not sure how to install it, please consult a stylist. Whole front piece from ear to ear, you have to make sure the lace flat. You can glue it down and sew it perfectly.
The second type of frontal is the silk and lace combination, where it is lace from ear to ear, however it has a 4x4 silk in the middle of the frontal, so it has lace all the way and in the middle 4 inches long and 4 inches wide, it has silk. So, that's a combination frontal.
The third type of a frontal is all silk in the front, it is silk from ear to ear, so no matter where you part it, you see silk, all through the frontal of the hair. The frontal is from 13 inches long to 4 inches wide, so you have a ear to ear long and 4 inches wide.
What Is The Similar Between A Frontal and Closure
Lace frontals and lace closures are used in the front part of the hair wig, both very useful in creating beautiful sew in and glue down installations. They both serve the same purpose, which is to close off an install. They both eliminate the need for blending, helps the hair weaving be natural looking. They are both made of either Swiss lace or French lace
